Gen X Couch
You’re the glue, the go-to, the one who gets it done, and you’re exhausted.
Here, you don’t have to hold it all together.
You get to be seen, supported, and real.
This is for the Gen Xers navigating caregiving, burnout, identity shifts, and injustice with humor, heart, and zero patience for toxic positivity.

This is the couch for those who give a damn.
You made it through latchkey afternoons 🔑, cooking on your own 🔥, the hose water of the 80s and 90s 🚰, toxic positivity 👎🏻, and hustle culture 😵💫.
-
You’re exhausted.
-
You care deeply.
-
And you’re not giving up.
Welcome to The Gen X Couch...a soft place to land for those of us who’ve held it all together for too long. 👍🏻
I built this because I needed it. Because so many of us are out here holding things together and quietly falling apart. The Gen X Couch is a place to fall back in love with your life.
This isn't about glorifying the pain or trauma. The Gen x Couch is focused on reflection, learning to trust yourself, and reconnecting with the parts of you that are seeking joy. It is a place to let go of the toughness enough to see yourself, while also recognizing that toughness is not all bad. It served a purpose.
Why the Couch?
The couch has always been more than just a piece of furniture to me. Growing up in the ’80s and ’90s, so many of my teen years were spent on a couch in someone’s basement. The couch became a silent witness to our late-night talks, laughter, secrets, and the messy chaos of figuring out who we were.
That couch held us together when everything else felt fractured. Over the years, I’ve had many couches, and each one has been its own sanctuary. They have been a space where community formed, stories were shared, and healing quietly began.
The Gen X Couch is my way of honoring that legacy: a place to land, connect, and reclaim joy and belonging in a world that too often feels disconnected.
